The Growing Need for a Realtor Virtual Assistant

What is a virtual assistant? A VA, short for virtual assistant, is a person who provides professional help in areas of administration, technical, social, creative and accounting to clients from a work-from-home setup. The means of communication between a virtual assistant and his client is by electronic mails, instant messaging, phone calls, fax machine and other related technologies.

The term of employment could be on a per project basis or for a longer more permanent basis. Professional virtual assistants need to have an actual office set-up experience to be able to handle the demands of a virtual executive assistant, legal assistant, secretary or a realtor virtual assistant. Consider this.

Your Real Estate website is up and about. As a very busy real estate professional, your life has been a series of frenzied activities trying to coordinate a myriad of things to make a sale. No matter how efficient you are, a 24-hour day is just not enough. You are harried and spend a lot of sleepless nights thinking on the numerous untied ends you have to face the next day.  It might be that you need a realtor virtual assistant to get your life and site going.  Ask yourself the following questions.

•    Will hiring a realtor virtual assistant make your life and work-load easier?
•    What type of service will you need?
•    How many hours will you need a virtual assistant on a per week basis?
•    How much can you afford to pay a virtual assistant?
•    Do you need a VA with special training or not?

Having truthfully answered the questions, it’s now time to decide if you need the services of a realtor virtual assistant or not.  The truth is there are a lot of positive points why you, the website owner and a professional real estate agent, need a virtual assistant.

Managing to get your site known all over the net is quite a daunting job. To put it simply, it’s one heck of a job to advertise a real estate website. If you hire the services of a realtor virtual assistant, the task of getting your site known in the web would be his job as website promotion is one of the job specs of a qualified virtual assistant.

You could cut cost and save time when you employ a virtual assistant. A VA could take over the nitty gritty of office work like answering e-mails and phone calls, data entries, simple presentations and follow up calls or inquiries. These tasks are time-consuming and quite dull. You could concentrate more in finding clients for your realty business, getting more sales and listings, if you employ a virtual assistant.

It is not an easy task to maintain a real estate website as maintaining one is serious business. Complications might occur in terms of failed servers or worst, lost domain name. A highly qualified virtual assistant could be counted on to smoothly run your website and trouble-shoot any problem.

In a nutshell, a qualified realtor virtual assistant will have the ability to do anything from desktop publishing, administrative support, web design to internet marketing. A realtor virtual assistant would help you focus more on tasks that would generate money.

Thank you. I thought that it was important to point people in the right direction, especially if they had the connections or education to do such jobs.

This is an excellent idea, but I wonder how one could go about implementing this in the marketplace. Specifically, I wonder how anyone could verify that the virtual assistant was qualified and worth paying for without going about actually doing that….

If you have not got enough office accommodation to hire 15 to 20 workers at a time, then a VA can fulfill your requirement. VA are the heart of the BPO industry.

Great post – used to be in real estate myself and for the last few years did hire a VA and it made everything a lot easier – all my day-to-day went away and it allowed me to focus on the big picture items. Definitely worthwhile.
